Driving Privileges Suspended

 

DRIVING PRIVILEGES SUSPENDED FOR FAILURE TO APPEAR:

-If you have received a Notice of Suspension for “failure to appear”, you must appear with the Suspension Notice prior to the effective suspension date indicated on the Notice.  See “Hours of Operation” prior to appearing in person. 

 

-Out of state drivers may still “plea by mail” by following the instructions on the Notice of Suspension.  If you enter a “guilty” plea you will receive notice of the fine and mandatory surcharge due to the court.  If you enter a “not guilty” plea the matter will be set down for Pre-Trial Conference with the Assistant District Attorney.

 

-If your license has been suspended in this court due to failure to appear and you no longer have the ticket or the Notice of Suspension, you may fill out a Waiver and submit it to the court.

 

 

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT BECAUSE THIS IS A “PART-TIME” COURT, YOUR PLEA BY MAIL MAY TAKE TWO (2) – THREE (3) WEEKS FOR PROCESSING.

 

Once a fine is assessed by the court, the online payment option is available to you at: WWW.PAYCOURTONLINE.COM

 

 

DRIVING PRIVILEGES SUSPENDED FOR FAILURE TO PAY:

-You must submit the entire payment to the court prior to the suspension date.  Please refer to the “Payment of Fines” for directions on payment and see “Hours of Operation” prior to paying in person.

 

 

A $70.00 STATE MANDATED SCOFFLAW FEE WILL BE ASSESSED TO EACH TICKET SUSPENDED.  THE SCOFFLAW FEE IS REQUIRED TO BE PAID PRIOR TO THE COURT RE-INSTATING YOUR LICENSE.
